To access the Online Library Resources from Off-campus, all students, faculty and staff will need to login to verify their connection with Lone Star.
The LSCS Libraries Authentication Page will appear when you click any link for Library resource such as a database, video, or ebook.
Students and faculty can use one of two methods to login:
Please note: the myLoneStar username and password login method will not work if the resource is purchased by an individual campus. If it has the name of a single campus next to the database, you will need to login using your Library barcode number. For LSC-Online, this only applies to Swank.
(EBSCO) Search complete e-books. Read in browser on computer, phone, or tablet, or create an account to download books to various devices with the EBSCO Mobile app.
(ProQuest) Over 100,000 ebook titles covering a full range of academic topics. General reference works are also included.
You can also use this database on your tablet or phone and download books for offline reading.
(Gale) This database contains digital books on multiple subjects such as science, geography, history, language arts, business and other subjects.
(Teton Data Systems) Full-text electronic medical library; included 26 titles including CPT Data Files, Davis's Drug Guide for Nurses, 5-Minute Clinical Consult, ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, Burket's Oral Medicine, and Scientific American Medicine. App also available from Apple, Google Play, and Amazon.
