Plagiarism is borrowing or claiming ideas that came from outside of yourself as your own without giving credit back to the original creator. It doesn't matter what format those ideas were expressed in (words, images, music, video), you are still responsible for giving credit.
In addition to being illegal, It is a violation of the Lone Star College Academic Integrity policy (LSCS Policy Manual, V.D. Academic Integrity and Dishonesty)
The college promotes the values of honesty, respect, fairness, and accountability, and expects personal and academic honesty from its students, faculty, staff, and administrators.

Students who violate the academic integrity policy will face disciplinary action under the College's Student Discipline for Academic Misconduct Policy. Consequences can range from failing the project or assignment to failing the course or even getting expelled from the college.
