Chicago Manual of Style, 17th edition

The Chicago Manual of Style provides a set of rules for formatting, writing. and citing your research for an academic paper or project. Updated every few years, the manual is currently on the 17th edition.

Chicago Style offers two distinct documentation methods: Author-Date system for the sciences and Notes and Bibliography format for the humanities. The Notes and Bibliography format is the most common for Lone Star College classes, so the following guide will focus on the Notes-Bibliography format.
